Nội dung phim

Bộ phim Letters to Juliet (Thư Gửi Juliet) kể về Sophie (do Amanda Seyfried thủ vai) là một phóng viên trẻ từ Mỹ, đang đi nghỉ ở Ý cùng bạn trai của mình. Trong chuyến đi, cô tình cờ phát hiện một nhóm phụ nữ tại Verona, thành phố nơi Shakespeare đặt nền tảng cho Romeo và Juliet, thu thập những lá thư tình và hồi đáp chúng như Juliet. Sophie tham gia vào nhóm này và phát hiện một lá thư viết vào năm 1957 từ Claire (do Vanessa Redgrave thủ vai), một phụ nữ đã lạc mất tình yêu của mình. Sophie và Claire cùng nhau bắt đầu một chuyến phiêu lưu qua Ý để tìm kiếm Lorenzo, tình yêu đã mất của Claire. Trong hành trình này, Sophie phát triển mối quan hệ với Charlie (do Christopher Egan thủ vai), con trai của Claire.
